03.28.2010 ~ Looking Up
Sunday was filled with storms that left behind a beautiful sky.
Passed by the Big Yellow Chair and had to stop.
03.26.2010 ~ Looking Up
Looking up at Miss Stella and her beautiful "new" smile. She lose her upper front tooth this week and we are all loving the new grin.

3.16.2010 ~ Around The House
Television
I could not get a decent photo of the television itself so here is the cabinet in which it's housed.

3.13.2010
Anna was invited to a birthday party at the skating rink. These two skated a little then shopped the vending machines. Never underestimated the power of a quarter and various plastic trinkets.
3.12.2010
Spent the afternoon teaching this Junior Achievement lesson to a room full of Kindergarten students. Satisfied my desire to teach (for now).

3.04.2010 ~ Looking Out My Backdoor
Birdhouse from Jeff's Grandfather Sherrill
I never realized how many items in our yard have been passed down from grandparents. From birdbaths, bird houses, and flowering bulbs, it seems everywhere I look there are reminders of sweet loved ones.

3.03.2010 ~ Looking Out My Backdoor
The birdbath that once belonged to Jeff's grandmother.
Very special reminder of a precious lady who loved her garden.

2.28.2010 ~ Children
One of the great things about having young children in the house is the fact that books are always on-hand. LOVING this title right now.
"I'm a pout-pout fish
With a pout-pout face,
So I spread the dreary-wearies
All over the place."
We can all learn very meaningful lessons through these fine works of literature. Plus, I am more likely to actually COMPLETE a book if it has nice colorful images alongside the story.

2.26.2010 ~ {Life with} Children
Regardless of the hours spent cleaning my house, there is always a "collection" of toys SOMEWHERE! One day I will miss this, I know I will. So for now, it is my goal to keep the house at a "safe" level of clean. No growing fungus, few dust bunny colonies, clean clothes to cover my family, and no rolling toys on the kitchen floor (painful lesson ~ just trust me on that one).

2.24.2010 ~ {Life with} Children
Three children. Homework. Practice. Traveling Hubby.
Acceptable (although not very healthy) dinner.
Learning to "Never say Never" when you're a parent.

2.21.2010 ~ Hidden Letters in Life
The letter "N"
We have experienced an absolutely PERFECT weekend here in East Tennessee. Spent Sunday afternoon at the driving range with Jeff and the kids. My son is trying out for the golf team and wanted some range time. All five of us ended up "playing" and enjoyed the time.

2.20.2010 ~ Missing Letter
No letter today. Just a little Baby Love.
Got to spend the afternoon with this sweet little one. Her mom has taught all three of my children in Kindergarten. Our friendship has grown over the years and we are so thankful Mrs. Tara and her family.

2.15.2010 ~ Hidden Letters in Life
This week is going to be a challenge. Today's photo is more of a "secret" letter than "hidden".
My youngest daughter had to go for immunizations this afternoon. When she went for her kindergarten physical in August, they were out of two vaccines. Neither one of us was looking forward to today's visit. What's a parent to do? BRibery of course.

Letters "B" & "R"
Brother, sister, and dad have no idea of our little secret.

2.14.2010 ~ Guilty Pleasures
This guilty pleasure comes as no surprise to those who know me.
I've been a purse addict since elementary school. The addiction is so deep-rooted there is no cure (not that I've attempted to find one). A purse is always the right size regardless of a weight gain/loss. Pure bliss when a new one is aquired.

2.11.2010 ~ Guilty Pleasure(s)
Music originally released on 12" vinyl records.
Who could forget about these five beautiful men? My room was wallpapered with images of Nick, John, Roger, Andy, and Simon.
Mmmmmm.....I wanted to be Jessie's Girl.
Naughty little man
{Gulp} Yes, I am a Fanilow and very proud of it.
